My job, while more aggravating than most, gives me a unique perspective on this city. Tonight, for instance, I am at the Botanical Gardens.....a lovely place anytime, but especially so at night. Tonight is cool.....a light rain is falling.....and there is no one to bother me out here. I can roam the Gardens at will, the only obligation being that I let no one else do the same. I just spent an hour down in the Japanese section, waiting to make my checks there, inspecting the grounds to make sure no one has slipped over the fence or squeezed through the gate, and sat and listened to the rain

Hello there everybody......been awhile, eh? Things happen, believe it or not, and articles don't get written like they should. Anyway, let's see if I can still do this.....
Usually all my articles are "raves".....I run across something that pisses me off, and I use BTN to tell you all about it, and hopefully make a few of you think a little (something that's too rare these days), and maybe even get a few of you to change things when you see they are going "wrong". Well, I'm kinda glad that's all over with, though knowing the state of TV news in B'ham, it won't be for long..... Let's see, how did *I* spend last Saturday? Hmmmmmmmm, not sleeping, like I should have been, that's for sure.... In fact, I didn't sleep from Thursday night through Saturday night, and FELT IT too.... Ok, Saturday morning arrives.....I get off of work around 7am, jump in the car and hunt down the Southern Museum of Flight, a place I've never been to before.... I find it, a little later than I wanted to, and stand around out front
